Omar

I am sure that so many of us are watching the TV series, Omar, رضي الله عنه; and I am also sure that you have seen the scenes of prisoner encampments and how our Prophet Mohammed, صلى الله عليه و سلم, treated those prisoners as though they were temporary guests.

The first thing that hit me was images of our war, and how we, as Muslims, of this day and age, treated our guests.
How we, in the 3rd millennium, have degraged our humanity and upgraded our creativity in brutality.
How we, as a Muslim nation, behaved as berabaric as a wild untamed animal would when its safety is threatened.

We call ourselves Muslims, but when our faith is put to test, we fail.

قال الله تعالى في سورة الأنسان: { ويطعمون الطعام على حبه مسكيناً ويتيماً وأسيرا إنما نطعمكم لوجه الله لا نريد منكم جزاءً ولا شكورا }
صدق الله العلي العظيم
